Philippine Poultry Show & ILDEX Philippines 2026 Spotlights Growth Opportunities in the Philippine Livestock and Poultry Market

Philippine Poultry Show & ILDEX Philippines 2026 Spotlights Growth Opportunities in the Philippine Livestock and Poultry Market

Tim Editor, 21/08/2026

173 companies from 22 countries set to connect global livestock innovation with Philippine market demand in Manila, 26–28 August 2026

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines is presenting growing opportunities for livestock and poultry businesses as expanding protein demand, modernization of animal production and pressure to improve farm productivity create new requirements for technology, expertise and investment.

These opportunities will take center stage at the Philippine Poultry Show & ILDEX Philippines 2026, taking place from 26–28 August 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Manila. The three-day event will connect producers, agribusinesses, buyers, technology providers and industry professionals through sourcing, knowledge exchange, networking and business development.

The 2026 edition will expand to 8,000 sqm of gross exhibition space, larger than the previous edition. As of 16 July 2026, 173 exhibiting companies — 67 local and 106 international — from 22 countries are confirmed, alongside international pavilions from Japan, the EU and China.

A Growing Market Creates New Business Opportunities

Recent official figures underline the momentum in the Philippine poultry sector. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), poultry production reached 3.21 million metric tons in 2025, up 9.1% from 2024, while chicken production increased by 9.8%. Growth continued into the first quarter of 2026, with poultry production increasing by 7.0% year-on-year. In value terms, poultry production grew 7.1% year-on-year in Q1 2026, while livestock production value increased 5.1%.

“The Philippines is a market that international livestock companies should be watching closely. Poultry production is growing, but producers are also under pressure to improve efficiency, control costs, strengthen animal health and biosecurity, and modernize their operations. This creates real opportunities for companies that can bring the right technologies and practical solutions to the market,” said Kevin Zhao, Senior Project Manager, VNU Asia Pacific.  “With 173 exhibiting companies from 22 countries, including strong international participation and pavilions from Japan, the EU and China, the Philippine Poultry Show & ILDEX Philippines 2026 is designed to connect global innovation directly with Philippine market demand. For international companies, the show is not only an opportunity to showcase products, but also to understand the market, meet potential distributors and business partners, and build relationships for longer-term growth in the Philippines.”

Turning Industry Challenges into Business Potential

The market continues to face rising feed and production costs, animal disease risks, climate pressures, imported meat competition, fluctuating farm-gate prices and changing consumer expectations. These pressures are accelerating demand for solutions that improve feed efficiency, animal health, biosecurity, automation, farm management and processing performance.

For international suppliers, the opportunity extends across the value chain: feed ingredients and additives; animal health and veterinary solutions; genetics, breeding and hatching; housing, feeding, drinking and climate-control systems; automation and data-driven production; and egg and poultry processing, handling and packaging. The market also offers potential to develop distribution networks, local representation, technology partnerships and long-term relationships with Philippine producers and agribusinesses.

Global Technology Meets Philippine Agribusiness

Based on the current exhibitor profile, the largest segments represented at the exhibition are Feed Ingredients & Additives (38.3%), Farm Production (29.8%) and Animal Health (27.2%).

Participating companies and brands across animal health, feed and nutrition include DSM-Firmenich, Kemin, ADM, PhilNutri Corporation, Philchema Inc., Pure Bioscience, Elanco, Angel Yeast, Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition and Zinpro Animal Nutrition. Breeding and hatching participants include Aviagen, Hubbard, Emka Hatchery and Tetra Poultry Genetics, while feed technology companies include New Hope, Alltech, BMEG, CPF Philippines, UNAHCO, Vitarich Corporation and Kasetphand Phils. Corp.

Farm owners and integrators can explore production technologies from companies including Big Dutchman, SKOV, LUBING, Salmet-Fienhage and Qingdao Retech Farming Technology, while MOBA, Nabel, Sanovo and Ovotherm Asia Pacific are among the companies bringing processing and handling solutions.

Technology + Knowledge + Business Connections

Beyond product sourcing, the 2026 edition will provide industry learning and professional exchange through the Poultry Forum, alongside networking activities. The Hosted Buyer Programme will support connections between qualified buyers and participating companies, creating additional opportunities to identify suppliers, customers, distributors and potential partners.

The show is particularly relevant for poultry farm owners and operators, broiler, layer and breeder businesses, commercial integrators, independent livestock producers, swine producers, cattle and dairy farmers, aquaculture operators, feed mill owners, feed manufacturers, feed ingredient importers, nutritionists, formulators and grain traders.

For exhibitors, the platform offers opportunities to launch, sell, expand and partner. For visitors, it provides opportunities to source, compare, learn, invest, network and grow. For the wider industry, these connections can support greater farm productivity, faster technology adoption, stronger competitiveness, sustainability and food security.

A Gateway to the Philippine Market

The Philippine Poultry Show & ILDEX Philippines is positioned as a business development platform connecting Philippine market demand with international innovation and expertise. For Philippine producers, it provides direct access to technologies that can improve productivity and profitability. For international companies, it provides an opportunity to meet the market, understand buyer requirements, identify local partners and explore longer-term expansion in the Philippines.
