The event brought together top industry voices, including Encik Noor Azman Samsudin from MOTAC, along with experts from BSN, Unifi, and Booking.com, who shared insights on tourism strategy, financing, digitalisation, and property optimisation.

KUALA
LUMPUR, 5 August 2025 – MyRehat, a leading local platform for short-term rental
accommodation and curated experiences, successfully concluded its MyRehat
Masterclass 2025 on the 19th of July 2025. The full-day event, held in
conjunction with the upcoming Visit Malaysia Year 2026, equipped hosts and
entrepreneurs with practical knowledge to grow their businesses and tap into
the rising demand for experiential stays.

This
year’s Masterclass focused on empowering startups and SMEs in the short-term
rental industry with actionable insights into business growth strategies,
funding opportunities, and the adoption of digital tools.

The
Masterclass featured a distinguished lineup of speakers and panelists,
including Encik Noor Azman Samsudin, Timbalan Pengarah Kanan, Lembaga
Penggalakan Pelancongan Malaysia (Kementerian Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya
Malaysia), who shared valuable perspectives on the national tourism agenda. He
was joined by industry stalwarts from Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), Unifi, and
Booking.com, who provided expert guidance on financing, digital transformation,
and optimising property listings.

“The
Masterclass is part of our mission to build a thriving ecosystem for short-term
rental hosts. It’s not just about property—it’s about people, experiences, and
growing together. With Visit Malaysia Year 2026 around the corner, there’s no
better time for hosts to step up,” said Zainal Zikri Zainal Abidin, Chief
Experience Officer of MyRehat.

The
event also provided a valuable networking opportunity for attendees, with
booths from Unifi Business, Luzzeri Group, and BSN showcasing their products
and services tailored for the short-term rental market.

The
MyRehat Masterclass 2025 has once again demonstrated its commitment to
fostering a vibrant and resilient short-term rental ecosystem in Malaysia. By
