The Generali Malaysia Volare Scholarship Programme empowers well-rounded and deserving students from diverse backgrounds in Malaysia.

The Generali Malaysia Volare Scholarship Programme is
designed to empower well-rounded and deserving students from diverse
backgrounds to pursue their undergraduate studies in any local and private
universities in Malaysia.

Tan Yong Kang, one of the prestigious recipients of The
Generali Malaysia Volare Scholarship Programme, is an outstanding HELP
University Diploma in Business student who graduated in 2024 with an
exceptional CGPA of 3.95. His academic journey didn’t stop there. He seamlessly
transitioned into our Bachelor of Business (Finance) program, where he
continues to excel with an impressive CGPA of 3.93.

Yong Kang’s remarkable achievements clearly demonstrate the
calibre of students graduating from our diploma programs. His success is part
of a proud tradition at HELP University, and we are confident that many more
will follow in his footsteps.

During his diploma studies, Yong Kang was recognised as a School
Achievers Study Award (SASA) scholar
. He has continued to be a top
performer in his degree program, where he currently holds a prestigious Distinction
Scholarship
. His journey is a powerful example of how our diploma programmes
provide a strong foundation for advanced academic pursuits.

The Generali Malaysia Volare Scholarship Programme is committed
to supporting the country’s human capital development through education, nurturing
young talents and creating a sustainable legacy for the insurance industry. Scholars
who meet the eligibility criteria will undergo a rigorous selection process and
assessment.

University and college personnel will recommend the most
promising candidates who meet the eligibility criteria, or interested students
can apply online. All nominees will then undergo the selection process
from their Virtual Curriculum (VCV), go through the assessment centre alongside
other selected candidates, do a case study and group presentation, and finally,
they will be evaluated by the Management Committee. Only well-deserving
scholars who are all-rounded and meet all the criteria were successfully shortlisted
and awarded as scholarship recipients. This scholarship did not come easily to
any of the recipients.

Under this scholarship programme, Yong Kang will be matched
with experienced mentors who will provide guidance and support throughout their
academic journey. Additionally, they gain access to various networking events
and conferences, offering valuable exposure for their personal and professional
development.

Yong Kang will also have the opportunity for an internship and
job placements with Generali Malaysia, under this scholarship programme,
providing him with practical industry experience and enhancing his career
prospects. HELP University is very proud of Yong Kang’s achievements and would
like to see him achieve his dreams.
