“Premium European Products” is a collaborative campaign by the National Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Greece (ETHEAS) and the Latvian Dairy Committee (LDC) – The campaign’s goal is to introduce the agricultural products of Greece and Latvia and promote them to the international markets including Canada, South Korea and Malaysia.

European Cuisine
Nowadays, European cuisine has been widely adopted in Asian countries known for their dietary practices, highlighting the simple and high-quality products such as extra virgin olive oil, table olives and dairy specialties that enhance the flavorful tasting. European cuisine focuses on olive oil, vegetables, herbs, dairy products and grilled meats, highlighting the natural flavor of ingredients rather than relying heavily on thickened or highly processed sauces.
To ensure authenticity and quality, the Greek selection features Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) certified specialties, guaranteeing that each product is genuinely produced, proceed and prepared according to strict geographical and traditional standards. The majority of olive oil production in Greece is naturally graded as extra virgin and Greece has boasted approximately 30 distinct PDO olive oil regions.
PDO Graviera of Crete: A white-yellow cheese produced from sheep’s milk or a blend containing up to 20% goat’s milk, distinguished by its creamy and slightly sweet flavor. It can be enjoyed on its own, in salads, or over warm and cold dishes.
PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oils & Table Olives: Sourced from historic groves, known globally for their distinct flavor profiles and strict quality controls.
PDO Table Olives – Konservolia Rovion & Stylida: Benefiting from their places of origin in Central Greece, each variety develops distinctive characteristics. Konservolia Rovion olives offer a sweet flavor and delicate fruity aroma, while Konservolia Stylida olives provide slightly bitter, tangy and peppery notes.
PDO Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oils – Kolymvari, Messara, Viannos and Vorios Mylopotamos: Originating from Cretan regions, these olive oils from Koroneiki variety offer rich aroma and fruity flavor, along with distinctive characteristics.
PDO Krokos Kozanis (Greek Saffron): Cultivated in the region from which it takes its name, it is distinguished by its deep red color, floral aroma, subtle spicy flavor and beneficial properties.
PDO Masticha Chiou (Masticha Gum & Masticha Oil): A natural resin harvested exclusively on the island of Chios, featuring a distinctive flavor profile that combines sweet, herbal, woody, pine and eucalyptus notes. It can elevate desserts and liqueurs, while also being enjoyed as a natural chewing gum and valued for its pharmaceutical and cosmetic properties.
PDO Corinthian Raisins “Vostitsa”: Small, black dried raisins traditionally sun-dried under strict hygienic conditions that help preserve their natural sweetness and nutritional value.
Latvian Dairy Products: Combining traditional methods with modern production techniques, products such as curd cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream are widely known for their creamy texture and delicate flavors.
Chocolates & Confectionery: Premium sweets that blend traditional European chocolate-making methods with modern flavor innovation.
Candied Dried Fruits: Naturally preserved fruits that retain their intense flavors and vitamins without excessive artificial additives.
Salty & Savory Snacks: High-grade snacks processed under rigorous EU standards for food safety and traceability.
Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)
PDO scheme, namely Protected Designation of Origin, is a European Union certification that labels products produced, processed and prepared within a designated region using local traditional methods.
PDO scheme is recognised for its strict quality standards, authenticity and traceability, while preserving the exceptional taste characteristics connected to each region.
