ASUENE Achieves TGO Certification in Thailand, Enabling TGO-Compliant Carbon Accounting, Reporting, and Sustainability Disclosure

ASUENE Achieves TGO Certification in Thailand, Enabling TGO-Compliant Carbon Accounting, Reporting, and Sustainability Disclosure

Tim Editor, 08/07/2026

ASUENE Inc. announced that its sustainability AI platform, ASUENE, provided through its Thailand subsidiary, ASUENE (THAILAND) Co., Ltd., has obtained the Carbon Footprint Platform for Organization Certification from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), a public organization under the Government of Thailand.

With this certification, ASUENE has been validated and registered under TGO’s Carbon Footprint Platform for Organization criteria. This enables Japanese and local companies operating in Thailand to conduct GHG emissions accounting and reporting in compliance with TGO requirements while streamlining sustainability disclosures aligned with global standards.

Background of the TGO Certification

The Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) is a public organization established by the Government of Thailand to promote GHG management and emissions reduction initiatives. TGO develops methodologies, emissions factors, and reporting frameworks for GHG accounting and reporting, while also operating certification programs to enhance the reliability and standardization of corporate emissions management.

As sustainability disclosure requirements and GHG emissions management become increasingly important worldwide, Thailand is also advancing policies and frameworks to support its transition toward a low-carbon economy. Interest in carbon accounting, emissions reporting, and sustainability disclosure continues to grow among businesses operating in the country.

Thailand is one of ASEAN’s largest manufacturing hubs and hosts a significant number of Japanese companies across industries such as automotive, electronics, chemicals, and food production. As global companies increasingly require emissions transparency across their supply chains, establishing robust GHG management and reporting systems has become an important business priority for both multinational and local companies in Thailand.

In response to these market needs, ASUENE (THAILAND) has pursued TGO certification to support Japanese and local companies operating in Thailand. Through this certification, ASUENE is now recognized as a platform that supports GHG emissions accounting and reporting in accordance with TGO requirements, enabling companies to address local reporting requirements while advancing sustainability disclosures aligned with global standards.
